This week in class we used shades to fill in shadows on portraits of ourselves. using different shades of color, we cut out pieces of scrap-booking paper and then glued the scraps together to make the picture complete. We matched the colors shade to the pictures shade and corresponded them so they fit together to finish the picture of ourselves.

So today is January 29th, obviously a Saturday, because we only meet on Saturdays. Today we worked with watercolors. In the beginning of class we did a little activity where we each started a painting, then after a minute we pass to the next person and they continue it. It was a lot of fun and pretty cool in the end. Then once we were done we compared pictures and talked about what they looked like. Then we picked to paint flowers or a sunset. Then we had to draw and paint it. It was a lot of fun and I'm pretty sure everyone had a good time!
